B/W to colour

i have some black&white photos which i need to turn into colour?how can i do that?can it be done with adobe photoshop CS3.if yes,please guide me.otherwise i can upload the picture to someplace from whcih you can download and then trun into color and then upload and give me the llink to download?please,help me if you can, o graet people out there.if you give me e-mails ids,i cansend them to you and then you can retuen after updating it.thankx a ton in advance

yes photoshop is the key go to adobe forums and ask them there they will help u right away and don’t say anything about u download PS it piss them off
There is a program that you can use to colour photographs.

It certainly is not automatic and can be very time consuming colouring photos.
Don’t expect that you just load up the photo, press a button and it does it all for you………..it doesn’t.

i used to do this for a living and photoshop is an ideal tool for the job but does require quite some skill and knowledge of photoshop
There is no program that can instantly/magically colourise your photos.
If your talking about a compressed image file (jpg, bmp, gif etc), there will be no data about the images original colours – only the viewable information is saved.
You could try turning them into sepia toned images, they look interesting enough (like tea/coffee stained).
Like above posts have said, colourising them exactly (realistically) is time consuming and you have to do it your self using PS.
