Burning Problem Please Help.

Ok, When TMNT came out I burnt it. I bought a Xbox 360 on dec 15 of this year and it read it and played it, and it’s a dvd-r disc. Ok, so tonight I burnt I Am Legend to a DVD- R disc and it won’t play. Why does the other one work, but this one won’t. Now, I’ve had the TMNT burned disc for a while like 3 days after it came out I burnt it. Maybe you can shed some light on why burnt disc works and the other one does not.

maybe you burnt the other one at a very high speed? also, wat is the format of the movie. Is the movie a proper dvd format( 1 movie: full 4.7 gb) or a rip 700mb

What I’m saying 3 days after it hit theater I burnt it and it worked on my xbox 360, but I am Legend won’t.

Are they (dvd-r) different brands? Some dvd readers are very fidgety. Also, what was the format when you burnt? ISO? DVD format files? XVID? Did you remember to convert if it was XVID?

What brand of dvd are you using? use a different brand. I bought some dvds that don’t hold video data very well, but are good for other files. Try a different brand. Are you using dvd–r or dvd+r? It makes a difference. I have never used Cheetah, but try a different converter/burner…convertxtodvd is most widely used.

Minus R? Try getting Plus R (+r), some dvd players recognize one and not the other…also try a difference brand. I have never had problems with Memorex, it plays on anything (PS2, computer, home dvd pleyer, etc)

I got it to work, but it only works so far and then stops. I will get Memorex. I’m ma try like you said and see if it works better.

I am using dvd + r now with a FujiFlim and it working great so far. I thank I got it now to work properly.
