build your own computer? :O

Hey everyone, I’m interested in finding a computer kit and attempting to build it. But as with most people…i really don’t know what im doing. I just thought it would be a cool thing to do. So if anyone who has built a computer or knows of it…would you be able to send me a few links or something that could help me find what im looking for? i’m willing to learn about what i need to do or whatnot. thanks in advanced

There’s a few videos at Youtube which clearly and basically show what to do, you just have to do a bit of searching around. You should also search google around for some computer building guides and possibly here for some ebooks on the same subject too. Anyone can build a computer, but you need to be careful, focused and follow the instructions carefully. Good luck!

I hope you don’t mean building and soldering components to make your own motherboard, CPU etc, that would be pretty hard work

Well many would say google is your friend but here youtube is. i have mounted my own comp with vids on youtube

That would be *realistically* impossible to do completely by hand

You dont need any book or youtube.
It very very easy.
Read manuals in the you componets you buy.
And then only plug them on

Phail, Overpriced. Just go to newegg and pick the parts out yourself and it will be alot better and cheaper. Trust me.
