Boot Problem Windows XP over 7? Help
October 6th, 2013
ok but problem is when i try to install xp i got error of physical memory dump
something like that
suggest me guyz …its very important for me..
so you want win7, winXP and Ubuntu (all 3) on your computer at once?
Am I Correct?
I’m not sure what steps you are doing from your post ?
You need to get rid of the Win 7 install, by deleting the partition and formatting the hdd when you boot from a Win XP SP3 .ISO. Once that is done and XP installed, then you can proceed to install the Ubuntu.
Physical memory dump’s can be from anything, you might want to check the status of your hdd with Hard Disk Sentinel Pro.
Use a VM dood. You can run all 3 operating systems at the same time.

sounds like your XP disk does not have AHCI/SATA drivers intergrated
you see any settings in your BIOS for hard drive controller to set it to IDE mode

OK – here’s an easy solutuion if you have enough hdd space free.
Keep the Win 7, and dual boot it with Linux
Then install Windows XP mode and Windows Virtual PC, then update the XP. You can then run XP directly from inside Win 7.

Then install Windows XP mode - You can then run XP directly from inside Win 7
Windows XP mode is not full XP, it’s a business class XP to run legacy apps
if you still want to install a bootable XP you can download a version here that has the SATA drivers integrated
or integrate them into your current XP ISO with nLite
