BIOS problem
November 1st, 2013
After a while i placed my battery back. Pressed the power button, but the display was just a blank screen. Firstly i thought i had a display problem, but i connected it to my tv using hdmi cable but i couldn’t see a signal on the tv.
So what could be the possible solution to retrieve back my laptop?
Thanks in advance.
Is there any button on motherboard to reset the bios to old version, as new laptops have backup for old bios?
abhitej replied: I tried updating the bios to A13. The system got struck while flashing.
If your had an issue during the middle of flashing the BIOS, you might have a problem. Could you explain what went wrong?
Also, first Google result after all the dell sites:

If the link that SmAsHeDr doesn’t work for you, you may need a replacement motherboard.
@SmAsHeDr – My computer hung while it was re-flashing the new BIOS at the 24th block of 36 blocks.
And ya, that link was of no help. I could just get the orange light. Waited for 8 hours for the flashing of white light(as mentioned in the fourth point), to only realise it wasn’t working.
@gilly – Isn’t there be any other solution? Because motherboard would cost around 12,000 and i have my budget constraints.
Anyway, Is it better to buy a motherboard from dell or any other local distributors? And which one do you suggest?
If there’s one thing they tell you: while flashing stuff don’t turn off power or suddenly end the flashing.
Use a usb /cd to & flash it whit the old firmware!
i would phone dell and let them know that you tired to update your bios and they will help you on that but why did you try to update your bios for
