Best Virus Scanner I don’t have to pay for

Any antivirus programs that I don’t have to pay for? I download Avast and the serial that was included didn’t work.

You can only use 1 anti virus at the same time, otherwise you’ll probably have a bunch of errors.

Avira Anti-virus Free is one of the best.Can be downloaded free from their website.

Avira is best. Use COMODO Firewall and Malwarebytes. NOD32 isn’t free.

First of all Avast Home Edition is free forever if you download it from their site. Downloading freeware from here is pointless you are in a site. But there are two things i believe people should have legal copies, your OS and antivirus. ExXoDuS hit the nail. Avira been the best AV compared to others since 2008 and as of now. Best of all they offer freeware version. My favorite freeware combo:
Avira Antivir Personal + Malwarebytes + SuperAntiSpyware + Comodo Firewall.
