Best Protection for PC

August 2nd, 2016

guyzz im using Symantec end point protection 12 for my PC.Recently i found that my cpu use is 100% with out even running any applications, and when ever i start internet and browsing, system runs very slow and when i run audio, the audio runs very slow with stutters.
my system info:-
Core2Duo processor
2GB ram
240 GB HD
Windows 7 Ultimate
Some people told that Symantec Endpoint is making my system very slow and cpu 100% usage
But symantec EP is very powerful protection for personal computer.
So i want to know about anyother Personal computer protection software which is atleast equalent to symantec Ep and uses less CPU..
please suggest me a good one ASAP…

Brought my Sister’s PC to a grinding halt. CPU never went below 50, always scanned/updated at startup.
Not recommended.
Everyone will say either..
1, Avast/Avira
2, MBAM
3, Comodo
Best defense is common sense.

I’m not a fan of Symantec products myself, But what your saying sounds hard to believe!
Have you actually checked on task manager which exact processes are causing it?
It’s quite possible that your PC is infected with Virus/Spyware!

Antivir (AV)+Comodo (FW) both are free. Antivir has a popup nag after each update, But you
can easily disable it (Just Google) but to be honest, You’d get the best protection by running a Linux distro instead of Windows (But Linux is not for everyone of course, It all depends on your usage) I still maintain however, It’s unlikely that Symantec Endpoint is causing it, You should really look into it!

I wouldn’t say that, While common sense can certainly decrease the odds you’ll
get infected, By itself, It’s simply not good enough! You still gotta have a good AV/FW when running Windows.
