Best Cisco Router/Switch simulator

May i get some opionions on which cisco router/switch sim rather its program or web based thats the best and most updated out there???

I think this classes as “Striking Evidence”, GNS3 is by far the best EMULATOR for cisco devices. Notice its an Emulator not Simulator. All u need is the cisco IOS’s and then you will be hosting real live equipment on your PC and EVERY command set will be available.

sorry to replying an old topic.. just want to help some fella here. the best cisco router/switch simulator is Packet Tracer. i believe the latest version is 5.1 provided by cisco itself. try to search @ google. hope this help .. if you still have problem in downloading this software.. let me know and i will log in into my cisco id and help you to upload the software.

has already answered for this. but let me explain a bit more. yes it has. u r required to install exploration notes since the lab will be provided inside this thing. if u need an explanation while u r doing the lab session, make sure u download packet tracer WITH guide.
