Bad Sector in HDD

I’m having a 40 GB HDD with 2 partitions in it. Each partition sharing equal space. HDD having some bad sectors and it shows 417 MB partitions. Please suggest any software or method for recover the old partitions.

Download Hirens Boot CD and run the HDD regenerator app. This will take a while. After it’s done use a data recovery software and take off the data to an external. After you got all the data format and re-create your partitions

or you could use the hard drive utility from the drives web site
check if it’s under warranty while your there, if it’s got physical corruption you may be able to RMA it
