If avast cant do anything, you could try getting another antivirus and try deleting it with it
Answer #2
Sounds like their is a main virus that avast cant find and is replacating but if in fact it is an advanced virus it is replacting so fast that when avast has scanned it has already made 100 new virus’s
So how to fix?
Run your computer in safe mode then scan as safe mode runs only the stock dll files stopping the virus

Answer #7
I’ll help you remove the virus just follow these steps:
:install hijackthis:

  • Download http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/_download/HJTInstall.exeHJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
  • Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  • Click on Install.
  • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Copy/Paste the log to your next reply please.
Don’t use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
Don’t have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required

Answer #10
On the main avast screen which looks like a media player, press the drop-down arrow in the top left corner and choose ‘Schedule a boot-time scan’ (or something). Restart your pc and it will scan your pc before windows boots
Answer #11
boot time scan is good option. Some viruses replicate themselves when deleted. Try boot time scan ,it operates when no components of OS are started. so virus still not activated. Use boot time scan whenver u are in same situation.

Answer #23
Is your system still picking up the virus?
Answer #24
Origin. ran malwarebytes, avast and norton, nothing is picking anything up now. so i assume its gone. Thanks again.
Answer #25
no problem, By what you replied I assume you are runnign two Anti-viruses at a time, it is only recommended to have one installed ina computer since they can cancel each other out. So either stick with Norton or Avast.
Answer #26
Here’s another senario.
I was having problems removing Avast. I was able to do so in safe mode with the removal utility.
After I installed Avast again it came up with a virus message, ” nnnkjIxX.dll ”
I quantined it, but each time my PC reboots it says, ” nnnkjIxX.dll ” could not be found
It’s seems to be acting like its needs to be there…..
Click ok and all seem to be working. Not sure whats going on behind the scenes
Any ideas????????
PS. My PC seem to be working otherwise

You may try this
Download and run autoruns, locate nnnkjIxX.dll, remove the tick from checkbox, restart, see if any problems occur

Answer #28
Seems like a random infection, could be vundo, please do the following:
Download RSIT
http://images.malwareremoval.com/random/RSIT.exe
Once downloaded, open it up and click continue, you will get two logs, please post both of them once the scan has finished.
Answer #29
Thanks guys. I was able to remove by doinga scan upon booting. TuneUp Utilities 2009 helped as well.( I was able to quarrantine it )
So far revoving it doesn’t seem to be affecting any of my programs.
