any programs that delete/whipe everything but windows?

July 25th, 2016

I downloaded a pirated version of windows 7 so i could just whipe my drive because i have tons of stuff i dont want and all youtube videos lag, etc, my laptop is crappy right now. I don’t have a disc drive so i cant burn a disc to see if that works. it says files are missing when i try to boot from my usb since i have no disc drive. SO I’ve abondoned trying to get a fresh installation or restore it to factory defaults, and am looking for a program that whipes or deletes everything besides the essential windows files and drivers? Some of the smartest people are on so this is the best place to ask.

if you are looking for a disk wipe program, it will always wipe everything , regardless of a folder called c:\windows or c:\users … which brings the answer : u can only manually delete all other folders on your c drive , except windows and users and the program folders ….

If you want everything but windows wiped, why not just re-install windows? lol

If you have a PROPER UNTOUCHED install version of windows 7 on a USB, there should be no reason to have files missing or need a DVD drive..
Windows 7, untouched is available here from the official Microsoft download links.
Pick an SP1 U version in the one of your choice. (I would use win 7 Ultimate SP1 U English).32 or 64 bit as required.

To put it on a DVD or USB you can use this..

During install, if it asks for a license key, just bypass that and keep going till it is all installed, up and running.
You can then run Windows Loader which will validate it and make it all genuine..(Don’t use anything else!)

You are OK then to do all updates as required….Good Luck !

If you have Windows 7 on a USB drive just enter the BIOS, make sure the USB drive is the first to boot and you should have no problems installing …. I’ve never used USB to install an OS (I always use DVD’s) but keep an eye on the screen when your computer boots up cos you might have to press a (any) key to get it going.
Answer #5
When it asks for a reboot to finish the install…..Remove the USB (or DVD) so that it will boot to the new Windows install on your hard drive.

They have that. It’s called the Windows install.
Just do a clean install of it, it’ll format the drive, and install windows.
