i find viewsat the best…

Viewsat is the best – my friend is totally into this stuff. He currently tests 4 model receivers Sonicview 1000, Sonicview 8000, the Pansat 2500 and the Pansat 2700a.
Pansat used to be the industry standard – but has been outpaced by Sonicview.
The Sonicview 8000 is the best in the biz right now – coveted highly by those who know what to do.
The BEST site around for FTA is FTA Scene f.k.a. “Ground Control” – located at ftascene.com
They have all the info you need to know. It’s a pay forum, but worth the money, and I think that you can get free memberships with the purchase of an FTA receiver.
When bin files roll – they will give you the current bin file to decode the sat signals – you can use a jump drive or usb to load the bins into the FTA receiver.
– I am MIRC’ing him right now and he says: ” get the SV receiver – dish 500 hack rec – avoid the dishpro “+” antenna (it requires higher voltage to switch the Inb)” and “go to lyngsat.com to see what channels are available” -tips from blacksmith
Hope that helps. FTA is the way to go – and is easier than you think.
Any FTA questions – I know the people who have the answers – just ask me – I’ll hook you up.
