Ants in keyboard!

Wow…try taking off all the keys a clean it manually with your has or you can use something that SHOOTS air to make them fly away. Also do that for the other parts; open your PC a STRIKE with your AIR POWER! a they shall be gone!! Of course you will do that outside because you don’t want ants to walk arou your house.

I have tried taking off a cleaning the board, but they just keep going back.

How about you clean your house at first? Then you won’t have any trouble? Call some ants killer a clean the keyboard + computer parts again a everything should be fine after.

First thing you must do is get rid of the ants

Go to the grocery store a buy some packets of Active Dry Yeast thats normally used for making bread. Sprinkle a little out where they come from or on the table a let them take it into their nest below grou. What happens is they treat it like food a they take it down into the nest for the other ants to eat as well. Even newborns will eat the stuff. The reason you use active dry yeast is when its dry its inactive, when they eat it a it gets inside their wet gut, it activates a the yeast starts producing CO2 at an alarming rate a they basically blowup. They probably will not die inside your key board cause ants don’t eat while there working, only when they get back to the nest. Eventually you will see fewer a fewer until their gone.
The rub is, it works on 90% of ants but not the real big carpenter ants or sweet eating ants.
I use this trick all the time a it really gets rid of them all. Do nmot put the yeast inside your keyboard. just along their path to a from it or on the floor where you see them gather. It doesn’t take much to destroy a nest, I can use a single packet sx or seven times (I’m talkin outside here) a they usually come in packets of three so it lasts me several years. Once you rid of your ants you can make some bread to reward yourself.

Thanks for the tip. Is dried yeast sensitive to moisture if put outside?
lmao the thought of all the ants exploding pleases me no e. I cannot sta bugs, they get anywhere they are able to.

Fumigate your house! Only takes a few hours a it will KILL EVERYTHING in your house like bugs spiders etc.
It dosent smell after a you cant even notice that it has bee fumigated.
Also it will stop any unwanted pests for at least another 3 months XD
Plus it’s real cheap to buy the fumigation can from a DIY shop.

You can also, Unscrew your whole keyboard, Take Electronics out, Go to your washroom,Clean the whole thing out, A they shouldn’t come back consitering your keyboard would be clean.

Yeast becomes active when it gets wet a then the cells live out their lives a die. So yes, if you put it outside by ant hills do it on a dry day with little wi so the stuff doesn’t blow away. Once it rains or even overnight with dew collecting the yeast will probably not work anymore for very long anyway. I really don’t know if the ants would eat the wet stuff thats been activated. I know it would be much harder for them to get it down into the nest a thats important to destroy the colony.
