[Answered Please Close] Permissions For Files on Vista

August 4th, 2016

Hey, I recently downloaded a app from this site, and it was infected with a certain file. Well it wasn’t really infected, it just came with a free file that just refuses to be deleted. It says I do not have permission to open/delete. I have tried deleteing it manualy and with a special erase program. Both have not worked.
Anyone know how to change the file permissions? I am the only account on this laptop and I am admin.

Answer #1
just boot into safe mode and delete it
