AMD Processor Question
August 5th, 2016
Well considering your question I’m guessing you use Intel at the moment and I’m pretty sure AMD and Intel can’t use the same motherboards. On topic to your question though, no idea sorry
the best in the x2 series is the athlon x2 6400+ 3.2GHZ

if u’r into overclocking then the x2 6400+ black edition is a good choice it has unlocked multipliers

then comes the athlon x2 6000+ 3.0GHZ its less 7-9% in performance compared to the 6400+ and there are 2 types one consumes 125 watts and the other 89 watts, if u r planning to buy it u gotta make sure which one ur motherboard supports the 125 or 89 or both

my motherboard supports socket 754. and the current cpu is 1.7ghz amd sempron. where can i find a faster cpu for socket 754?
socket 754 supports sempron and athlon 64 sempron is a low-end cpu before buying a cpu u have to check which processor speeds and models ur mb supports
the best u can get for socket 754 is the athlon 64 3700+ 2.4GHZ but its rare and expensive
