August 8th, 2016

Hey guys I just got a new GPU:

That I planned to run in Crossfire with my old GPU

The problem is that apparently they don’t seem to cooperate – They’re unstable, PC freeze/shuts down and I’ve gotten the blue screen a few times now =/
I’ve the dump files of one of the blue screens here: http://~ Dead file host ~/ygoaoo1lf7o8
Have tested them seperately and have no problems at all

Answer #1
Can’t download the minidump:
Download permission denied by uploader. (0b67c2f5)
Either fix it or upload to another host!

Answer #3
According to the minidump, It’s caused by a buggy display driver, Getting the latest might help!
However, Sometimes a driver error can be caused by bad or unstable hardware. You need a good enough PSU to run 2 7870s in CF. Which PSU do you have exactly? (provide the full model)

Doublepost – sorry about that

And all drivers are up to date
Answer #6
The PSU should certainly be good enough (unless there’s something wrong with it)
As for the GFX driver being current, I have my doubts.
I can tell from the minidump that it’s from Dec 19 2012:
atikmdag.sys Wed Dec 19 22:38:55 2012
According to AMDs site however, The latest (stable) driver was released in Jan 17 2013:

There’s also a newer beta driver you could try.

Oh gonna try that – though my CCC says it’s version is 13.1 too ^^
Also installed the AMD Catalyst Application Profiles and it seemed to help a lot
Answer #8
You could always give the beta driver a try.
If nothing goes with the driver angle, Try updating your BIOS:

You currently have version 3202. See, I can tell all kinds of things from the minidump, Even what you ate for breakfast!
