Advice: What to do with my really old Sony Handy Cam

Hello BB’s,
I am looking for some advise here. I have a very old Sony Handycam CCD-F40 that turns on but does not accept tapes. Do you think it’s worth anything? Should I try to sell it as is or just trash it? Any Ideas? I tried looking on google but idk….

I’d say it would be worth like 20Bucks possibly. But since it doesn’t accept
takes how is someone suppose to record anything? I reckon just trash it
out mate.

If it allows for video output, turn it into a security cam?

Interesting, but the problem is that it’s very bulky!!
