Advanced System Optimizer VS Advanced SystemCare

Official sites are below
Advanced System Optimizer

Advanced SystemCare

These applications are rubbish, Avoid them like the plague;
Real administrative tools are located at Control Pa\System and Security\Administrative Tools
I agreed with
Use ASC on the old lappy…Works OK keeps it cleaned up..Ultimate version here..

On the main PC I run TuneUp Utilities with an occasional run over with jv16 Power Tools..
Advanced system care is much more popular
You probably wont see any huge performance difference (if any) regardless of whatever you use
Seriously there are company’s with thousands of windows computers, They pay literally hundreds of thousands of dollars for software. How many of them do you think run these programs to increase the security and performance of their computers ? None! because they don’t work they are snake oil.

Well I don’t run these programs realtime I just use them like once a month just to clean the crap. Plus it does a good work removing redundant files, defragging the registry etc

Bloody stupid comparison ………. Company computing systems and Joe Bloggs in his bedroom with one computer are entirely different things matey. These personal tweaking/system tools have their uses, especially for those not overly aware with the technical details of their computer innards ………. so stop being so dismissive matey!
I use Windows 7 and Windows 8 Manager plus CCleaner, R-Wipe&Clean, Registry First Aid and jv16 Power tools ……. whether they actually do very much is irrelevant since having used them the feelgood factor of keeping things up to date and shipshape makes you feel much happier.
I used advanced system care, it does a great job and has some useful tools.

Hahah I know right. I just feel like having them in my computer so long they’re not annoying or distracting. But from what I see, Advanced SystemCare is more popular. So ASC it is!
Me and usually don’t see eye to eye, But this time, I completely agree with him!
System optimizers are just a placebo and make little to no difference in actual performance.
It’s for the most part just a psychological thing or make believe.

Why not? I mean, yeah probably we don’t really see much improvement in system performance. But they did their job in cleaning out the crap (registry cleaners, disk cleanups, and even defragging) right?

they clean crap out alright, but the thing is, say you run 1 program and it cleans some sh*t but then you run another program and it shows up with some different junk files
they do sh*t but weather that lead to an increase in performance is a different story

Interesting coloration between it illiteracy and the use of these programs eh ? Almost what you’d expect if they didn’t work ?

QFT, id suggest getting a case with a “turbo button” on the front that isnt connected to anything, At least this placebo cant do any damage
But they did their job in cleaning out the crap registry cleaners
Which do nothing at best and cause problems at worst.
disk cleanups
Built into the os.
and even defragging
SSD or a solution like Diskeeper

Yeah I noticed. If I run different programs they show different junk files. And I was wondering are these programs completely safe? I don’t want to delete important files which these programs detected as junk files.
look, this is all you need,
WinUtilities, —– clean registry and junk files.
ccleaner —— clean everything exept (optional) — on applications tab, untick cookies, untick saved passwords,
all the rest can be cleaned, if you want to delete cookies you can, but saved passwords you should keep.
windows (built in) disk clean up—clean everything.
your pc will be like new,
Iobit Advanced System Care 3.8.0.745 ! Very Best for me until now, dont update to latest ver of ASC.

Bullcrap.
SOME of them can cause problems, and some don’t help, but ASO is an absolute life-saver. I’ve been depending on it for years to get me running when I have small problems.
I own 5 computers systems, and use them to make my living. Believe me, THIS application is the one you want, and it’s is NOT snake oil.
It works. Period.
