Adobe After Effect CS4
December 9th, 2013
Does anyone here know why is it when i click play or playback button in adobe after effect , the video is kind of laggy , it wont play straight , like its buffering .. how do i solve this?
Thanks in advance..
What are your computer specs? (specifically memory). Adobe products require a fair amount of memory to run all of it’s processes, so if you don’t have enough, then that could be why it’s lagging.
my specs are :
Dual Core 2.2Ghz
RAM 2GB
Nvidia 8400gs ..
Please suggest me what do i need to change or upgrade?
2gigs of memory is minimum req. for running any of the Adobe programs. If you are wanting to be able to run it smoothly and be able to have background programs as well, then you’ll want to upgrade your ram. I recommend at least adding on another 2.
Have you rendered the preview first?

Sry, i’m kind of new to Adobe After Effects..
So i don’t know how to do that..
Please teach me how to do it, if you don’t mind.
Also make sure you have the 64bit version of the software to make full use of the RAM you add.
