Active Data CD\DVD\Blu Ray Burner

Just bought some Sony BD-RE discs (these are Blu Ray RW) tried burning with above just getting message no disc in drive but there is one in? Also tried Cheetah same message can anyone help hope I have’nt wasted my money.

Use DVD Identifier, and see if your drive will actually burn on them.

Thanks to you both, don’t laugh, didn’t know I would need a blu ray burner. Someone has told me I will need a BD-RE DVD+RW Sata Blu Ray Drive, had a look quite expensive will just have to take a loss.

I’ve got one of these LG external burners, not too bad, was about £60 more 2 years ago.

Looked into that but the man in the computer shop told me the movies I download from this site ,even if I burn with blu- ray writer, put onto blu -ray discs, will not be like blu- ray quality?

That’s true, but if you go to Blockbusters and rip their films it’s great
I use it mainly for data discs.

Can now be locked. Thanks to everyone, have learnt a good lesson, ask for help on the forum before you do anythink , if like me, not technical with computers.
