Acer Aspire 5738z Ubuntu 11.10

Hi, I have been a user of Ubuntu for a few years now alongside windows 7 and all that is good but…..
I have a a newish laptop a Acer Aspire 5738z with a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family graphics card.
The problem is that the graphics are stuck in low res, when go to settings and additional hardware it searches but there is no graphic card options, so…..
How do I either download the driver using sudo or is there a different way?
Please Help!!
