Account problems
January 21st, 2020
my rapidshare account has expired but i cant access the website to extend it, it doesnt load so a cant even navigate around the site, i have been trying to access it for about a week and half coming up to 2 weeks. so i was thinking of trying a new file hosting site but i dont know which one as most of the links on here are rapidshare.
so can anyone tell me which is the next best one to rapidshare, or tell me how i can access the rapidshare website?
thanks.
hotfile is getting big , and megaupload choose which one you like
Well weird, the site is working fine for me. But if you want to change your filehost then go for Megaupload or Hotfile. They’re both fine filehosts.
hey! mate.. just try to visit rapidshare web on this link.. this is a proxy bypass site.. check & let me know whether you can access the site through this…

thanks guys i will look into them sites. Yeah C0D3H4CK3R i can get onto the site with that proxy but should i be extending my account through a proxy? is it safe to do it mean.
yea its safe but if you use IDM for example you have to use thats proxy on the settings of your connection
ok thanks mate i will extend rapidshare i used to use IDM but now it wont let me because i used a fake serial >< so i use flashget
you can still uninstall it and reinstall a new version of IDM .
ok cool.. two things, which is blocking rapidshare through you pc.. check you internet connection settings..
tools -> internet options -> security.. and click on restricted & view it.. check whether the site is blocked..
ok kool i might try IDM again if flashget lets me down. I also looked at restricted sites, there are none listed :/
i tried extending the account with the proxy it says step 1: select the account and thats it and i cant do anything, lol just my luck.
well.. there’s another method where you can check whether site is listed there… and try the below ip address which is straight away get connected to rapidshare….
http://195.122.131.8/
or try this steps… destination is “C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc”
http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com/forum/internet/30191-how-block-websites.html
check on that local host whether the site is listed there…. and let me know..
nah sorry no luck, its not listed. it works on the DS >< it doesnt matter thanks for the help though mate!
no worries mate.. may be an issue with the net settings or PC settings.. btw, is ur connection contains a dynamic or a static IP
hmmm i have no idea, how would i know?
check your IP address in
http://whatismyipaddress.com/
this shows whether it’s dynamic pool or static pool.. or contact your ISP
Try doing this –
Windows + R (or just start> run)
and type cmd and hit enter
type ipconfig /release and hit enter
then type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter
and finally type ipconfig /renew and hit enter for the last time
Then, download CCleaner and clean your cookies.
If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling your browser, or if you’re not using Firefox, try that
OR
try using opendns –
http://www.opendns.com/
Hopefully this fixes your problem
