A little help please?

Im looking for programs to Enhance my computer performance. At the moment, i have:
Nod32
DSL Speed V 4.0 (Running DSL Cable) [Still dont know how to use the program or if its working right now]
Im trying to make it Faster and More enjoyable. Im also a Gamer so yea, that would be helpful if there is something that enhances gameplay.
Running: Windows XP media center addition [Parents bought this]
service pack 2.
Amd Athlon(tm) 64 processor
3500+
2.21 GHz, 896 MB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6100
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0 or better.
idk much bout all this but thats all the info i can get.

The easiest and least expensive would be another gig if memory,you should notice an improvement.You could also check your task manager and see if any 1 thing is slowing you down.

So, here there are some:
– TuneUp Utilities 2008
– Glary Utilities – O&O Defrag 10.0
– O&O Clevercache 6.0
– CCleaner (Freeware, but awesome)
– Alcohol 1.9.6 (needed to mount images)

ok so Once i defragment everything, will it run a little faster?

Download Tune Up Utilities 2008.
Run every scan/defrag
Disable startup programs that you don’t want.
Get a bit more RAM.

theres a problem when im trying to update from x32 to Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
Its not letting me, i get this error: Update/Update.Exe is not a valid Win32 Application.

Sorry man i should had read the thread a bit better.Any system optermiser prog would help speed you up .Once thats done its thing remember to do regular maintanence more often,that way you will keep your rig running at its best.Ps the extra memory wont hurt will it.

Tune up utilities is nice.
