Not directly, unless you have a very specific DVD writer (Samsung SH-D162C flashed with Kreon) that can rip an Xbox 360 game completely. There’s certain parts of the disc that can’t be read by ordinary drives and that’s what the Kreon is for. You can get these for very cheap on eBay, usually for less than the price of one new game.
However, I think it’s possible to rip most of the game with any burner and then patch it with a PC program. I’m not entirely sure, but if you search around you should hopefully find a tutorial for this. Other than that, you’re better off just downloading a good rip.
Yes, I think, I am better off downloading games that are already ripped and burn it.
Do I need a special burner to do the job (software and hardware)?
I have both the older and the newer 360 xbox and both are still being use. What hardware and software do I need that can do all the burning for the two xboxes?
