[SOLVED] My PC doesnt get on?

I got the PC issue fixed by taking the battery (what battery? You’ll find the picture below this message.) of motherboard off for 20hours. That format’s the motherboard fully and made the PC work all fine!

Hello everybody!
Last night I started to download some TV-shows (worth 60 gb) with my PC. I left it downloading and I locked my PC as I ate before going to sleep. After I had ate I just wanted to check everything OK with PC still (internet haven’t disconnected or anything). When I tried to log in to my PC it didn’t let me to… The screen was just black. I waited for some minute or two and nothing happened. So I shut downed my PC (by holding start button in), Then after 10 seconds after PC was shut down, I tried to start the PC. The PC went on for like… 5 seconds and then it went back shut downed. Then automatically it kept trying to reboot it all the time. So I put that switch that’s behind the PC to OFF. Then after 5-10 seconds I switch it back ON, and I tried to start my PC again… The PC gets on and doesn’t shut down automatically as some minutes before. BUT… Now the keyboard, mouse nor the screen doesn’t get on?
Keyboard, mouse doesn’t have any lights and screen has that orange light on it (like when PC shut downed but screen on). When screen is actually on, it has a green light. So PC gets on but screen, mouse or keyboard doesn’t?
I was downloading to my D:\ drive which has 400 gb free, so it didn’t get like… Over used or anything. I was downloading from RapidShare with speed like 10-12mb/s. My PC has 4 GB ram etc… Using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I tried to take ALL wires out the PC for the night, and plug them back in when I woke, still didn’t get back on.
So what’s wrong? My uncle said there may be a virus or something… He told me to take some part of the motherboard off and let it be away from the PC for 15-24hours. But I don’t remember which part, and I wouldn’t know how.
My uncle changed some settings with the hard drive like… 2 weeks back. Like they won’t never turn off, they stays on even if I didn’t do nothing with the PC. But he said that didn’t cause it.
So… Is there ANYTHING I can do, to fix this problem? My hard drive has tons of files, images that I can’t afford to lose! So please people help me! If something to ask, just ask me! I’ll try help as good as I can! 🙂

Sounds like typical Dell behavior. But seriously on topic…
There are no beep’s when you turn it on? It just comes on and nothing happens?
You can try resetting your CMOS (either a jumper or removing battery).
Also, try reseating all your devices on the motherboard, ram, video card, sata cables, etc. (don’t worry about the HSF).
Probably not the issue because will normally produce a beep code, but you can try (if you have 2 sticks of ram) booting with just 1 stick, and then the other stick.
