August 5th, 2016

Ever since i installed I.E 9 beta. And then reverted back to IE8, I cannot get the IE8 32bit to work, ithe blue cursors starts to circle and nothing loads up on my task manager or the taskbar!!
However, if i run IE8 64 bit it seems to work fine!

oh don’t worry I know the majority of people will suggest Chrome and Firefox!!
Which are both installed, but as I have windows live id and use Windows live messenger the program needs IE to autmatically log in and plus.. if i disable it on wind 7 i dunno if ie9 (once released will work)
Hope someone can help plz??

I don’t think that’s true, I have “uninstalled” IE on Win7, and I can use MSN without a problem. I would be smiling if they could only work together lawl.

Yes but you have to endlessly retype the password on chrome and firefox everytime …
And once IE9 is released if IE8 is uninstalled, then what!!! Questions, questions!!

Few things to try:
Reset IE8 to default settings:
In IE go to Tools – Internet Options, Then click on the Advanced tab and click on Reset. Then in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings box click on Reset to confirm it.
Uninstall IE8 then reinstall it:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700
To uninstall Internet Explorer 8, follow these steps:
Close all programs.
Click Start
Start button and then click Control Panel.
Click Programs and Feature.
In the tasks pane, click Turn Windows features on or off.
In the list of windows features, clear the check box next to Internet Explorer 8.
You receive a warning message in a pop-up window. Click Yes.
Internet Explorer 8 will now be uninstalled. The system will restart after the installation.
To reinstall just go through the steps again and select IE8 again.
Restore the system to the point before you installed IE9.
