Answer #1
well u have to format ur windows drive!
really vista sucks….
XP is miles better than it.
Answer #2
can you possibly give me a step by step of what to do? format how?
Answer #3
Well, you insert the disc with the programme on then restart PC on run up it should ask Press Any Button To Start CD. Or something like.
Answer #4
to format go in bios change boot sequence so it loads disc before floppy
put xp disc in it will load all by it self
go tru the promts till u get to the install stage say fresh copy and it will ask for what drive to format then it will take a while
it will restart and windows xp install will start go thru all the stuff and u got windows xp
Answer #5
what do i want to do if i just want to wipe everything and start clean?
Answer #6
well insert a bootable CD in ur rom
then go to BIOS and change the boot priority to BOOT FROM CD-ROM
then…..
some thing will load like computer will do its usual checks…
after they it will ask do u want to install windows XP press yes
then it will show ur partitions….all the drives.
then delete that partition in which u have installed VISTA….
then redefined the capacity of partition and then seleect quick format option…
after that the drive will be formated
and windows will copy system files to the selected drive.
u computer will re boot
a screen will appear with the message do u want to boot from CD press any key to continue
do press any key there
after that setup of XP will start and it will take approx 30 min to be installed!

I assume you wants to clean up your harddrive and install a fresh new copy of XP.
Firstly enter your BIOS, and set boot sequence to boot Cd-drive as 1st boot or something. Than insert your XP disc, while booting somewhere in the middle will appear a message as follows “Press Any Key to boot cd” or something close to this.
Than as follows press any key and delete the current partition and install a fresh new copy in it.
Certain BIOS has different ways of entering it, mine is with the key ‘del’.

I think you meant the drivers and such? Some altered or tweaked XP already
includes certain sound and network drivers. If you mean an external software for you to connect to the NET. Than I’m afraid you might have to request a new CD from them or do a backup of the files.

Answer #15
sorry the above NO NO do it simplier download VistaBootPRO, i've used it and it is awesome. was a mistake. I misunderstood the situation. what i did to improve vista experience is only a few tweaks, removal of stuff, stopping unwanted services and so on. try all of these

and perharps if you have a usb flash you can use it as extra ram
google top vista tweaks and stuff, and try whatever suits you.
Answer #16
If you lack ram, just add in some ram as its not as expensive as you imagine. *imagine*
Futuremore if your really low on budget, get a 2nd hand one from some online markets at cheap price, ram dont really have any problems as it is covered by lifetime warranty by more memory company!
