(solved)windows 7 starter language pack.

Hi guys im planning to purchase a new laptop of small size only for email, chatting most importanly less weight as i travel a lot. I went to MEDIA MART in GERMANY and i found samsung n220 plus with all the requirements however it has OS windows 7 starter and its in german language. I prefer reading in english as my german is weak. I spoke with the guy bt they said that i have upgrade and it would cost me 150 euros extra.

Can you please tell me does windows 7 starter has language pack where i can get an English OS.

Well you can ask if you can buy the laptop without any OS installed but you can download this ISO and burn it on disc and use the Windows 7 version you downloaded it has english language pack,

Your warranty will not void as you are getting the laptop without any OS and you need a OS to be able to use the laptop so you can install any OS you want. Installing and deleting any program does not effect the warranty. My brother had a PC with Vista and I updated the windows to 7 and it stopped working a week ago and he got a new PC yesterday as it was still under warranty.

ok i have downloaded the language mui pack from some website bt the file is getting deleted automatically i even tried to rename it bt its allowing me… what should i do now

This feature is only available in Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate. You can download these language packs via Windows Updateyou’ll need ultimate version of W before changing language
