Windows XP Safe Mode

August 5th, 2016

I am using windows xp sp2. Due to some errors, I have to run windows xp in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. So, in safe mode, windows loads minimum files and drivers.
My question is that can I correct my display size in safe mode. Becayse in safe mode display size is very big. I want to make the screen size normal.
Please tell me can i do that and how?

Answer #1
Well that’s a hard question, since safe mode doesn’t load any user installed drivers.
Even if you managed to increase resolutions, the performance penalty will be huge.
Answer #2
You cant as safe mode dosnt load the graphics drivers, Try reformating/ installing an OS that was releasedc in this decade (OK a few days to go )
Answer #3
I have changed the resolution in by going display settings and the advanced tab and then adapter, click on list of mode. It made the screen normal but colors are bad.
The problem is that when i boot xp by by normal process and it works for few minutes but after sometime when i click the open my computer, run, start bar, internet explorer, it does not open, even when i click to shutdown or restart it does not do anything. Now i am using safe mode with networking and it is working fine.
I am asking to you is there any trick to troubleshoot windows xp in safe or anyother software that can find out the problem.
