VPS Problem
August 4th, 2016
I just bought a VPS. But the OSs they provide for FREE are:
Debian Lenny 5.0
Gentoo
CentOS 5.5
Ubuntu 10.04
I never used any of these before. I use VPS only for download/ upload. Also take screenshots, info too.
So, to do what I need to do what is the easy OS I choose. I mean which is the EASIEST to to use?
Please help.
Choose Ubuntu 10.04 cause it has firefox.
Can I install VLC, MediaInfo, Avi2Clipboard, FTP manager things like that?
He is talking about Downloads and Uploads so fairly a rapidleech? also if you want to install something good and flexible, for servers CentOS 5.5 is recomended
Also what do you mean by installing VLC and other stuff? going to use it as pc?
Only thing I need to: Download a video, take screenshots, info and then upload it. That’s it.
To do this what should I install?

Looks like you should get a windows VPS.
Can you suggest me some please?? I need at least 15 GB space and 300 GB bandwidth
Dude if you want to do the mentioned thing, then install Ubuntu in which you can install GUI Access also which will enable you to do the mentioned thing, as far as i know you won’t need any additional software installed on VPS to do that
Anyways let me know your VPS Specs:-
Like how much ram
etc
