Assasins Creed Help

i installed assasins creed today, and installed and everything, then after i was done, it told me to update it, so i downloaded the updates and whatnot
but now when i try to run the game it says “please re-insert the correct DVD-ROM and select ok to restart the application”
so can anybody help me?
After updating you have to use a new crack…Same version as the update:
