[SOLVED]Rapidshare downloads stop and start

When I’m downloading something from rapidshare, it’ll go full speed for 1 or 2 seconds, then stop for 1 or 2 seconds and start again etc.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Could be the time you are downloading, rapidshare has a habbit of shutting down every so often for a few hours at a time. Could be your ISP, try enabling with direct donwloads if you have an account, if your a free user you cant do jack.

happens to me too if i am free downloader
actually (sadly) that’s normal, i think it’s done by rapdishare (kinda sucks) i would post the link where i read it but it’s a german forum … but since the file works after the download, appart from wasting time, it’s not a big problem …

Yeah true, plus I don’t use it all that often.
Anyhow, I’ll mark the topic as solved, I was just kinda curious.
