Start >> right click on my computer “manager” >> Disc Management >> select the newly installed drive, and right click and select new/format/create new or whatever and set the parition to whatever you want it to be (default is entire disc). and don’t do it in quick mode since it’s new and it’s the first format.
depending on the size of the disc, it’ll take awhile to format in regular mode.
just let it load, and if u have any fans/ect. keep it cool during the process, it’ll get pretty hot

absolutely agreed.
And you can My computer > Right click > Proporties > Hardware > Device manager.
You don’t need to update any drivers…
Drivers are embedded into the hard disk, and when build-in, a boot will be enough.. Just format the drive to the desired filesystem and you are ready to go go
You don’t need to format the drive..It’s already formated…Only if you want more partitions…
o Rly? Not sure about that, since, when I build-in a new hard drive out of the box, it has no filesystem on it =/ Always have to manually reformat to NTFS (Or sometimes it’s FAT32, convert it to NTFS)
well when installing windows the first time, theres the need to format but additional drives after installing windows doesnt really need it
