need converter which can change video size resolution

August 6th, 2016

hi
i am trying to find a video converter which can just change the size of video.
i don’t want any frames, audio, bitrate conversion.
what i want to do is just change the video size.
for example from 1020p x 7200p –> 600p x 200p
i have tried many converters but all of them take too much time.
i need a converter which can just resize the video size very fast.
please don’t criticize or tell me to search, i have already searched.
any help will be appreciated too much.

just changing the size of a video is not a simple process as you think. it is normal for it to take long.
but you can speed up the process if you use a one-pass encoding (at the expense of quality if you keep file size low) or you have a graphics card supporting CUDA, which will take some load off of your cpu. Xilisoft’s converter has support for CUDA acceleration, so i recommend it.

You haven’t mentioned the video format. If it’s x264 then it will take quite some time because if you want to lower the resolution then you do need to re-encode the video which will take time. If it’s XVid then it can be done quite quickly on a fast PC.
By the way, your resolutions are very strange. It’s 720p which is 1280×720 resolution and 600×200 isn’t a resolution which is used.

virtual dub with avisynth script or allok video joiner

i don't want any frames, audio, bitrate conversion.
frames and bitrate conversion are exactly what you want
resizing (shrinking) is a recode, no way around it
and increasing the bitrate will retain some of the quality
I use “AVIdemux” for that type of operation
and like asks, what format are you starting with ?
Answer #9
^^^^ looks like he is not aware of the total prosess so best advice is to use a s/w which does every thing by itself
like allok , avidemux , format factory , etc….. go with super
