Thanks for the help.
look like it’s fastfat.sys did this.
download and use
BlueScreenView v1.20 – View BSOD (blue screen) crash information
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
Yup.
That program shows that fastfat.sys caused the BlueScreen.
Here’s the info:
So what does this mean?
Is it just a one time thing?
I was transferring some video files to my USB stick, while I was watching Lost.
Suppose thats why…
Is there a problem with my PC.
Watching something and transferring files shouldn’t cause a BlueScreen; should it?
Thanks .
where was the file you were watching located ?
if it only happens once, then no big deal
if it keeps happening, it may be a problem with the USB drive
put
eventvwr.msc
into the search box and check you error log for more info
The file I was watching is in a folder on my Desktop.
I was also transferring files from my Desktop to a USB drive.
I’ll just watch out for it.
If it happens again I know there’s a problem.
Thanks.
it could be that usb drive is in fat32, try copying some more to a fat usb
