Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 Help

I Have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. When I tried to start it it comes up with an error : ‘Failed to initialize script host’
I tried reinstalling but it doesn’t seem to help at all.

if your using vista try right clicking the lauching .exe file and go to properties ”run in compatiblity mode winxp/2000”
if it’s an illegally obtained (downloaded) version, apply necessary cracks/activations.
sony protects all it’s software, so make sure you are patching/cracking/activating as needed.
