HDD Problem!

i have 320GB Hdd in HP Dv7t!!
rite now HDD is showing 156 GB is used in C drive properties (i have a single partion & a recovery partition). bt when i acctually select the contents of C drive( by pressing Crt+A) and see its properties it shows 113 GB used..
so where is the rest of 43GB gone???
Plz suggest a solution!!

EDIT: I still have that problem, but Im not bothered about it anymore, because i bought a 750GB HDD
really.. in ur case it was this much too!!
It was around 40GB if i was correct, but i had 180GB HDD, so I could really feel the pressure of my HDD space decreasing, and I was wonering where the hell 40GB of my HDD was, because I found 40GB missing.
There is not really any way to fix this problem, except installing XP
bt i already have Two partition’s
1) 286GB C drive
2) 11.5GB d drive
so isn’t 22 Gb from 320GB lost already!!
hey figured it out!! Got 30GB by clearing System restore and Shadow Copies!!
