jailbreak new ipod touch version:2.1

hello all i just got myself a new IPOD TOUCH with 16G (the new one) i think that the frimware version is 2.1.0 – and i know there is a new update . now my qustaion is : how can i jailbreak my ipodtouch so i can get programs and games does it have a jail break for this version ? should i upgrade my frimeware – will i be able to jailbreak it ( i think it’s 2.1.1 version )

As others have said, it’s not possible to break 2nd gen touches yet.

Why would you revert all the way to 1.1.0? 2.0.2 is jailbreakable.

But the fact still remains that second gen iPod Touch’s cannot be jailbroken, so reverting versions will not help you anyways

how do i know which gen i have i think theres 3 i dont have volume buttons on the side i think its the 1G but not sure also what can i use to jailbreak v2.0.2 as QuickPWN only supports 2.01
