mac program help

Ok my cousin has a new mac and he let me use it, so as i was going to minimize the window and the cursor went off the the window and minimized to a small square on the desktop. there was also itunes running and that was small on the desktop to.. does anyone know the app of what does that or is there none….
If there is, is there anything like that for windows.

on mac, when you minimize a program, it always goes to the dock. That is the bar where all your programs are and stuff. When minimizing, it looks like your program gets sucked into the dock.
There is no program for that, it is always like that when you use Mac Os X
For the little itunes player, That is integrated in the mac version of itunes. you get it by pressing on the little green dot, used for maximizing other programs. Click the green dot to toggle between Full version and miniplayer

sry mate i dont think thats whats it was….also there is a program called object dock thats kinda like the mac dock for windows…..
