Help with windows vista

hi i just downloaded and installed a version of windows vista ultimate from these forums and then i downloaded a activation cracker or w/e it called and everything was working fine but then a error popped up and said that it found a crack for the activation and that i need to buy a vista ultimate copy or something happens. does anyone know how to fix that error??
