hey if i am using imgburn to burn a iso to a dvd-r
what kind of dvd drive do i need?
can i use a reg dvd drive or?

If your burner is capable of burning DVDs, then it doesn’t matter what filetype you’re trying to burn.

no no no im asking do i need a dvd burner drive for my computer
because i have a reg dvd driver that plays dvds

Your drive must be capable of burning yes, and it should be. Right click on your drive and select properties and tell us what drive it is.
How are we suposed to know what drive you have if you don’t tell us?
