Ripping DVDs

hey, am using Xilisoft DVD Ripper Platinum 4 for ripping dvds. But i dont seem to get the settings right for making a proper ~700mb dvd rip i get to download online. I changed the following settings (left the others default) to: bit rate: 600
frame rate: 24
aspect:
audio
bit rate: 96
sample rate: 44100
And the result was, i cudnt play the movie full screen . I think i should change the Zoom property to something else, but am not sure.
Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Try using AutoGK oR WinAVI Video Converter to rip your files. They’re really good programs. You can find a detailed guide on how to rip a DVD movie here:

I was looking at the help files for that Xilisoft DVD Ripper Platinum 4 and it does not seem to let you set the output file size for your total input, so to speak…So I think you would be better off using something that allows you to set your files size to 700MB or whatever you want and then it should be able to set things up properly itself..Use what suggested..
