How to remove MD5 Hash?
January 28th, 2020
Lately, my uploads have been more successful because I cut the first couple of seconds from the beginning of the video. However, all attempts haven’t been a total success.
you can’t remove the hash, but you can change it
use banbuster (you can find it here on the forum)
Thanks, I’ll be sure to look into it right away.
By the way, do you know if my theory about “being more successful in uploading videos to Megavideo by removing md5” is correct.
Previously, I thought it was because of the length of the file. I figured that files that were less than 20 minutes would be more likely to upload successfully, so I trimmed the file by removing the intro and ending. But later I thought that it was more likely because I removed the md5 hash.
Update: I just tried banbuster, but it seems like it only works with rar files. I need to remove the md5 hash from video files for megavideo.
All files have MD5 hash.
The only way around for MegaVideo files (maybe add a custom logo few seconds with your name in the start)
Few seconds addition or deletion will change the MD5 hash.

In other words, I should “watermark” them? Would one itsy bitsy pixel be enough?

yes!
Just read your replys, so this isnt going to work, seems like watermarking is a good solution, maybe see if you can do it for a singular frame?
I dont know much about video files, but the theory seems good
It’s a lot of trouble to go to just to upload a video. It is the file hash which is getting banned or preventing you from uploading, changing a pixel is a bit of a long winded way of changing the hash and will be terribly time consuming if you have to keep doing it for each file ban.
Just use BAnbuster or rename the file.
