Cant play WMV on my pc plz help

I HAVE reinstaled codecs and players couple of times
And still…
I get this when i try to play a WMV video:

All other formats like AVI mkv rmvb play without any problem … only Wmv is being gay on my pc
How do i fix it?

Download CCCP and use Media player classic. Should have no problems.

I got same problem if I play it with VLC. Then I play with other player, no bad image shows up

yeah well i dont use VLC . i pretty much tryed all the popular players (except vlc ) and all FAILED.
I have a fresh windows install btw 3 days old used the performance edition… maybe something in there is disabled but as i stated i have NO problems with other video formats

Have you uninstalled the crappy codecs? Also, have you tried another video? It might just be that one video that is messed up.

OK After unistalling all crappy players and codecs i have now CCCP and MPClassic.
Still the same ~love~.
So i had this GENIUS idea to freakin change the extention to .AVI
so i renamed the file to FILE.AVI and hey what do u know … it works great o.O
