WELL TRY WINDOWS XP pro edition
service pack 2 is already integrated in it so all bugs are fixed.
if u want something then u may also try XP dark edition
microsoft has also launched sprvice pack3 for xp.
it may also help you.

Why not just install XP Pro SP2 and get a nice “cool” theme for it?
