transfer files from pc to laptop

January 22nd, 2020

so my problem is my PC has been plagued with boot loop and it won’t even get past the loading screen for windows so i won’t be able to have access to that comp even on safemode it boots.
so what im asking is that is there a possible way that I can transfer files from my PC to the laptop I am currently using? I could always set up a FTP but i cannot turn on my PC. is there any alternatives to getting some files from my PC to my laptop?
thanks

Well, basically you can move the files you want from the first hard-disk by plugging it into a different PC, but since you have a laptop i don’t recommend cracking it up.
maybe one of those External HD cases work, where you plug the Internal HD on it and then transfer via USB.

Hmm, get a tech guy in to get your data off your hard drive and put onto your laptop?

using XP?
put in xp disk and boot from it, chose an option to repair your current instalation (note that you do not want the “recovery console”, only the “Repair” option after it detected your current instalation)
then it will copy some files to c:\windows et voila!
you might be able to boot your pc again…
else use a livecd like windows by BART, or a linux livecd like UBUNTU. after booting from it access your local hard drive and set up a ftp or something
