Are Internet Downloaders Safe?

January 29th, 2020

I want to download Internet Download Manager or FlashGet but I’ve noticed some of them also download torrents. Do using these to get files off Rapidshare or Megaupload increase your chances of getting caught by the RIAA or MPAA? Thanks.

Answer #6
No.... Download managers themselves are quite legal and safe
only if you own the license to the media involved otherwise it is still very much ilegal
and yeah avoid torrent networks if you can or try private trackers
Answer #7
I don’t plan on using torrents, I was just wondering if using a program that supports torrents (FlashGet) to download Rapidshare files is any more risky than just downloading straight from Rapidshare.
Answer #8
No …It doesn’t download from rapidshare in a torrent at all !
What it means is that it will also work with torrent files…which are nothing to do with Rapidshare
Answer #9
Alright, thanks for the help.
Answer #10
it is mainly hevy uploaders of new films and the like who are most at risk but managers make no difference to what is a very small risk
