HELP: Can’t make XP Genuine

Im running Windows XP Professional PS3, and cant make it Genuine, i’ve tried the stickied topic on the Helpdesk, but i cant seem to get it to work :S i get this message when i try to activate
“This copy of Windows did not pass genuine validation.
The product key found on this computer is not valid for use in your region”
can anybody help? I’ve tried a few different patches and none have worked =[
