psp can’t find game adhoc

January 28th, 2020

so here’s the issue…me and my cousin could play Virtua Tennis 3 a year ago together via ad-hoc and it worked just great,so then i didn’t see him in a year so yesterday we tried to play that again and it wouldn’t work.i create a game and he can’t see it,the same thing happens if he creates it.he’s got the legal UMD version while i have a pirated version,it worked before but now it won’t.we also tried playing Smackdown vs Raw 2009 but that didn’t work too.im really smiling off by this
So can anyone HELP!!!! me because we really wanna play some tennis so i can kick his ass

Answer #1
– Is it the firmware versions that are different?
– Was your cousins WLAN switch on?
Hope it helps.
Answer #2
It probably because if he has the legit UMD then he is probably at the current firmware which is probably the culprit.
Answer #3
i’ve got CFW 5.50 GEN-A and he hac 5.50 official firmware.

-firmwares are the same
-both of our switches were on

it can’t be it worked before
oh yeah and who said no on the poll you make me cry
Answer #4
make sure you also have the smae version of the game (eu/usa/jpn)…
and also make usre that the wlan is actually working, maybe someones psp is broken
Answer #5
my PSPs wlan isn’t broken because i can browse the internet and buy stuff from PSN and so can he,but I read the Support Information in the box of my PSP and there it said that UMD Cache can interfere with adhoc connection and we both had it turned on,next time I see my cousin we will try it again with UMD Cache turned off
I have a PSP-2004 FFVII Special Edition and he’s got a PSP-2004 Spiderman Special Edition
