Anti-Virus for no-internet PC ?!

Can someone please suggest me an anti-virus that protects a PC without an internet connection.

any antivirus software works without internet,
you can just turn on the internet to update the virus definitions
otherwise, you can try a rescue disk, which will do the same thing,
and is update-able, when you connect to the internet.
the only difference is, you’re going to need to put the disk in to the optical drive of your PC
when you want to scan
